The Field Supervisor oversees the project lifecycle and field operations. S/he will be responsible for overseeing project execution and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Receives project information/scope from Sales and establishes project timelines.
- Schedules crews and coordinates all work with job site contacts ensuring a safe and efficient execution of scope performed.
- Works daily with crews on sites to lead them and ensure profitability of projects. This is a working position and training existing crews for continuous improvement is vital to the success of it.
- Tracks all job costs with both subcontracted labor and other direct job costs coordinating all information with admin to ensure proper billing of all labor projects.
- Ensures all required safety paperwork is filled out daily for each project.
- Act as customer liaison for project progress and help to develop future business opportunities.
- Support sales efforts as a technical expert in the industry assisting on jobs walks as needed.
- Act as a leader within the company.
- Support growth of training programs and report documentation.
- Enforces safety guidelines and procedures.
- Acts as a safety role model and understands behavioral based safety.
- Understands the technical and practical aspects of the job and helps to ensure safe work practices are being followed.
- Using engineering judgment and data to make sound business decisions.
- Responsible for performing site audits to assure assess technical development and to address any on-site concerns.
- Performs anchor inspections as needed.
- Assists in warehouse work, deliveries, pickups, and service calls when field supervision is not required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3 yrs. experience working in the industry at a minimum leading scaffold crews
- The ability to read drawings and specifications
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines on time and within budget
- The ability to travel 25%within the region
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
